A Chartered Accountant with specialist knowledge in MYOB, business finance and tax matters, Jatin has helped many Patel Pike’s clients to expand their business since joining the accounting team in 2000. Jatin is teaching MYOB for last 9 years by conducting week nights and week ends workshops through out Auckland at various Community Colleges.

This course is for small to medium-sized businesses who wish to use MYOB, as well as for existing users of MYOB.
COURSE OUTLINES:
Setting up a completely new business data file on MYOB. setting up chart of accounts, entering opening trial balances or balance sheet and unpresented cheques, entering cash receipts and payments, setting up opening accounts receivable and accounts payable, entering sales and purchases and thereby maintaining sales and purchase register, customising forms (invoices, statements, etc), preparing GST returns on an invoice and payment basis, end of month reports, profit and loss account, balance sheet, aged receivables, aged payables, bank reconciliation, inventory, data file management and end of financial year procedures.
COURSE DURATION:
5 x 2 hour sessions
(Weeknights 7-9pm once a week for 5 weeks in different areas of Auckland)
Saturday workshops in different areas of Auckland and Hamilton
COURSE NOTES:
An extensive MYOB manual and notes on basics accounting.
CERTIFICATE:
At the end of course.
COST:
$75 + GST to $120 + GST (The cost is very low compared with the market rate offered by some other MYOB course providers because these courses are subsidised by the Ministry of Education. Please pay course fees direct to the school or college.)
