Laxmi’s knowledge of our business, combined with her excellent administrative skills, make her a key member of the Patel Pike team. She has been with us since the company began, joining as our receptionist in 1983, and amassing a huge amount of practical experience.
For the past ten years, Laxmi has been our office manager, controlling cash-flow and ensuring the smooth operation of the business. She also keeps track of the large volumes of paperwork an accounting practice generates, and enjoys working with our clients when the need arises.
Laxmi was born in India but came to New Zealand as a very young child with her parents, and grew up as an Aucklander. She is a Past President of the St Heliers Floral Art Club – a hobby she still enjoys, along with walking and tennis. She is also a well-respected Past President of the Women’s Committee of the Auckland Indian Association. Laxmi is married with two sons.
